Cultural Connections for Caregivers
Dr. Anna Schultes discusses the challenges and benefits of raising children to be bilingual. Dr. Schultes has personal and professional knowledge of her topic. She is raising her own children to be bilingual, and she has researched and written about mothering and cultural identity in the Polish American community in Chicago. Her program will also give suggestions for native-English speaking parents to expose their children to languages at a young age.
