September is the perfect time to sign up or renew your library card
Your library card is the most important card in your wallet! It gives you easy access to the latest titles, meeting and study room reservations, homebound delivery services, online resources, and more. Getting a card is easy. You can visit the library to apply or visit northbrook.info/card to learn how to get a card.
In addition to Northbrook residents, Northbrook businesses, teachers, and au pairs may also be eligible to get a card. For residents of unincorporated Northbrook, our Cards for Kids and Cards for U.S. Veterans programs may make it possible to get a card at no cost. Other residents of unincorporated Northbrook have the option to purchase a library card. Learn more at northbrook.info/card.
All Northbrook Library holders are invited to play Library Card Bingo in September
From September 3-30, we invite Northbrook Library cardholders to play Library Card Bingo. Stop by to pick up a Bingo form in the lobby or at any service desk. Complete the activities listed on the form on your own. Once you have marked off five squares in a row—vertically, horizontally, or diagonally—you can submit your completed Bingo card at the box in the lobby or any service desk on the 2nd or 3rd floor to be entered into our prize drawing.

We will hold a prize drawing from all submitted entries. Prize winners will be contacted in early October.
