High school students interested in volunteering at the library this summer are invited to apply to be a Summer High School Volunteer to gain real-world experience, earn service hours, and be part of an amazing team.
As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to join groups like our Craft Group, Chess Group, Teen Book Discussion Group, Video Creation/Social Media Group, Summer Reading desk, and more. Make new friends and develop valuable skills while giving back to your community!

Please note: all Summer High School Volunteers must be enrolled in high school during the fall of 2025. We'll start accepting online applications on May 1, and all applications are due by Monday, May 26. If you have any questions, please email teenlibrarian@northbrook.info.
