Meeting Rooms

The Library has several spaces available for groups to reserve on the first floor: the Civic Room and the Pollak Rooms. Pollak Room AB is a large room that can be divided into two rooms, Pollak A and Pollak B. Meeting rooms can be reserved up to two months in advance. Please note: the Auditorium is only available for Library-sponsored programs. Before making a reservation, please read our room rentals policy to understand our terms of use for our meeting rooms. 

Reservations must be completed online by a Northbrook resident 18 years or older with a valid Northbrook Library card in good standing. The signee must be present during the event.

Need to cancel your reservation? Go to the Room Cancelation page and enter your confirmation number.

Need to change your reservation or made a mistake? Please place a new request and then cancel your previous request using your original confirmation number.

Pollak Room A&B seats up to 100 and can be divided into two separate rooms, Pollak A and Pollak B, each seating up to 50

Study Rooms

Study rooms are located on the second floor of the Library. Reserve a study room online.

  • Residents with a valid Northbrook Public Library card can book a study room
  • Rooms hold a maximum of 8 people
  • Rooms may be reserved up to a week in advance for a maximum of 2 hours a day
  • Reservations will be forfeited if the room isn't occupied within 15 minutes of the starting time
