The Village has recently announced a project to improve Cedar Lane, which includes a new all-way stop at Cedar & Cherry Ln, a new pedestrian crossing on Cedar Lane, and asphalt patching. According to the Village, the project has a tentative start of September 6 and will be completed by October 21.
The project includes adding an all-way stop with ADA sidewalk ramps at the intersection of Cedar Lane and Cherry Lane, constructing a new pedestrian mid-block crossing with a flashing beacon on Cedar Lane between the Library and Village Hall, and asphalt patching on Cedar Lane.
Please allow yourself additional time to travel to the library during the project. There may also be times when our parking lot may be closed. If this happens, we'll share this information via email, our website, and social media.
