The Northbrook Public Library is proudly displaying a rotating exhibit by artist Alisa Singer. We have one piece, located on the wall outside the Collaboratory, and the work changes approximately every 2 months.
The full collection of art will be on display for a year (until March, 2020) at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. There is no opening event planned so feel free to stop by at your own convenience. (The Environmental Graphiti exhibit, featuring sixteen pieces of art, can be found in the South Gallery on the second floor.)
As many of you know, the museum is located in a modern new building across from the Lincoln Park Zoo and close to the Lincoln Park Conservatory. The museum's butterfly exhibit is well-known and much-loved, but the museum has many other attractions, including (until June) a very compelling nature photography exhibit featuring 40 large award-winning photographs by the highly respected nature photographer Thomas D. Mangelsen.
