Techny Prairie Park and Fields
1750 Techny Rd. (near the playground at Techny Prairie Park and Fields)
The Little Free Library at Techny Prairie was donated to the Northbrook Public Library by the Northbrook Rotary Club in 2019. Members of the library's Teen Advisory Board (TAB) decorated it to look like a vending machine. The library is maintained by book donations from the Friends of the Northbrook Public Library. Library staff and volunteers also contribute to the Little Free Library's maintenance.
North Suburban YMCA
2705 Techny Rd.
The Little Free Library at the North Suburban YMCA was purchased with funds from an anonymous donor in 2016 and decorated by members of the Northbrook Public Library's Teen Advisory Board (TAB). Books are provided by the Friends of the Northbrook Public Library as well as the general public.
West Park
1730 Pfingsten Rd. (behind the Northbrook Sports Center)
The Little Free Library at West Park was built by a local teen, Matthew Furby as part of an Eagle Scout project.
Wood Oaks Green Park
1150 Sanders Rd.
The Little Free Library at Wood Oaks Park was purchased with funds from an anonymous donor in 2016 and decorated by members of the Northbrook Public Library's Teen Advisory Board (TAB). Books are provided by the Friends of the Northbrook Public Library as well as the general public.
Englehardt Park

The Little Free Library at Englehardt Park was purchased with funds donated by the Wadler family, in honor of Karen Wadler, an educator, librarian, and resident of the North Shore community who passed away in 2020.
Northbrook Fire Station #12
