Wherever you are in your academic journey, the library is a great place to go for homework and research support. One of the most important things you can have is a Northbrook Library card, which lets you check out as many materials as you like, reserve a study room in advance, and take advantage of all of our eResources, including those listed below.
Here are some more ways the library can help you reach your academic goals throughout the year:
- Get a Library Card: All students ages 18 or under living in Northbrook (including unincorporated Northbrook) can get a library card at no cost.
- Pro Tip: After you get your library card, install our app to access your digital library card, reserve a study room, use eResources, and a lot more.
- Get Free Printing at the Library: Each school year, each Northbrook student (ages 5-18) will automatically get a $20 printing credit added to their Northbrook Library card each school year.
- Reserve a Study Room: Our 18 study rooms on the 2nd floor are perfect for group projects. Use your Northbrook Library card to reserve a study room for up to 2 hours a day.
- Use our Quiet Study Room on the 2nd floor: It's ideal for focused reading and studying. It's always open, and you don't need a reservation.
