You can check out as many items at the library as you want! (Downloadable materials from Libby, Hoopla, Kanopy, etc., still have borrowing limits.)
- You can check out almost all of our items for a longer period of time. New and Lucky Day films can be checked out for 1 week.
- All other items (excluding in-house equipment) may be checked out for 3 weeks.
- Almost all items (excluding Lucky Day materials) will renew automatically 3 times, unless other patrons have placed a hold on them. Lucky Day materials are not available to renew.
- We do not charge fines for overdue items. However, due dates still apply. Learn more.
- New items (excluding Lucky Day materials, which are browse-only) will be holdable exclusively to Northbrook patrons for their first three months in the collection.
